"Art makes visible."
This idea guides my work. To liberate the invisible from the haze of everyday life and make it visible. To awaken the viewer's imagination and immerse them in an atmosphere that only art can create.
"My art is a dialogue between two eras."
After a very long artistic evolution, in the spring of 2025 I decided to actively dedicate myself to artistic creation once again.
Born on March 2, 1958, in Zurich, Switzerland. Since childhood, I have been passionate about drawing, painting, and photography. My artworks have been created over the years using various techniques. As early as the 1990s, my work resonated with internationally active Swiss companies and private clients—a period characterized by commissions and an intensive exploration of structure and space. These early successes form the foundation of my current work. After a period of conscious reflection and inner maturation, the year 2025 marks my decisive new beginning. With a current portfolio of 15 new works, I reconnect with my artistic essence, translating it into a contemporary language. Recent exhibitions — from the prestigious Art Monaco and the Select Art Fair in Chania to the Paris 2027 art fair — are further highlights of my artistic career. They confirm my artistic evolution. My work combines the technical precision and marketability of the 1990s with the uncompromising freshness and relevance of today. I want my art to touch the viewer's soul by immersing realistic scenes in an almost supernatural, surreal, dreamlike, and spiritual atmosphere. One of my favorite techniques is pencil drawing. It has always fascinated me. In my artwork, I employ my linework in such a way that the pieces resemble paintings. The fascination lies in the challenge of creating a work of art that lives solely through shading and the interplay of light and shadow, using only black, gray, and white. This technique lends the artwork tremendous depth and a captivating, almost surreal structure. Since I spend a lot of time hiking in nature, I encounter many exciting subjects that inspire me and which I capture photographically. Afterward, ideas for realizing and creating new artworks emerge. My preferred art styles consist primarily of Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Surrealism. By blending these styles, a new art form is created. All my artworks are 100% by handmade.
